Discussion Meeting: Carbon Markets and Forest Governance
The aim of the meeting is to bring together a small, informed group to explore critical governance issues relating to the range of potential models for inclusion of avoided deforestation in a post-Kyoto carbon regime. We hope to identify possible synergies with FLEGT VPAs and other relevant forest governance process and explore the potential for the forest governance community to best engage with opportunities for progress arising from the climate debate. Participation is by invitation only.
