I am a tropical ecologist and conservation biologist currently employed as the Timber Trade Programme Officer with TRAFFIC Europe. One of my main jobs is to help co-ordinate a EU funded project which aims to raise awareness and closer collaboration between the EU and South American countries on the implementation of the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) Action Plan. I am also involved in developing TRAFFIC Europe’s regional timber trade programme and am responsible for the implementation of timber trade related projects in Europe, in addition to supporting TRAFFIC's Global Timber Trade programme.
