I manage an EU-funded WWF campaign (2010-2011) - What Wood You Choose? - to raise awareness of the impacts of UK timber consumption and trade on communities in the Congo Basin and Indonesia. The aim is to encourage consumers, businesses and UK local authorities to increasingly choose responsibly-sourced wood and paper products. We talk about the impacts of illegal and unsustainable logging on communities, and the positive difference that consumers can make by choosing responsibly, with a particular emphasis on FSC certification.
