Progressio is an international development charity working for justice and the eradication of poverty. Progressio’s approach combines advocacy work in the UK, Europe and internationally with the strengthening of community-based organisations. This combination is very effective in ensuring that the interests of poor and marginalised communities are taken into consideration in the North, while at the same time contributing directly to improve the quality of life and livelihoods of people in the South. We work on three main themes:

* Sustainable Environment,
* Governance and Effective Participation,
* HIV-AIDS.

Progressio has been working on illegal logging, at programmatic and advocacy level, for the last 15 years.
